What is your first name?
Does Your name have any significant or sentimental meaning?
My mother named me Arabella, but my friends and some other family members call me Bella. As a kid, I was a really beautiful and adorable girl. I had this lovely and inviting smile that made people want to play with or carry me. Arabella means “lovely and elegant,” while Bella means “beautiful.”
What is your background/heritage and why is it important to you?
I’m Hispanic. I believe that at every point in time, you should always have a reason to be happy. Even if it’s simply for being healthy, or being alive. This is enough to make you happy. People care a lot about money. However, having money may not be the solution to all our problems. You need to be able to appreciate the gift of life.
What is the most challenging experience you have faced or are currently facing in your life and how did you/are you facing that challenge?
My most challenging experience so far was trying to mix in with people, especially when I was in high school. Most people believe that any girl that is beautiful will definitely be proud. They tend to avoid or get to know me. I see it as just a gift. I am always ready to get along with others.
What do you think will make the world a better place and what role can you play?
I think the world will be a better place if we stop judging others using the general notion “people say — ……” what if the person is different? You may never know unless you make an effort to understand or relate with them, giving them the benefit of the doubt. It is wrong to judge a book by its cover.
What do you wish others would know about you that they cannot tell on the surface?
That I am warm and easy going. I am ready to sacrifice my time if that is what it takes to put a smile on someone else’s face. No matter what, I believe there should be a reason to smile. Take a break from life’s worries, take a deep breath, and think about what makes you happy. Find solace in it. This is the best way to appreciate the good things about life.
